Initially, I wanted to do everything under one channel: general self-improvement and coding because the better my habits, the more time I have to code, so there is a circular relationship. However, when I see how the videos look together, it feels like it distracts from the coding channel. Imagine C Su-do-ku tutorial and then the next video is my top habit for coding , while there is some coherence there it didn’t feel appropriate for the vision I wanted.
I don’t think content like “how fixing my sleep improved my coding” fits the kind of theme I’m going for, it’s good , it isn’t slop but it’s messy. I want my personal ecosystem to include this somewhere.
So I’ve decided to have one channel for general habits, self-development, and my YouTube journey, and a separate channel dedicated to coding. There may be some overlap, but this lets me try things out and document the journey. Honestly, it feels like placing it neatly in a different compartment.
I think a mix inspired by Captain Sinbad, a blog, Aprilynn, and The Compound Investor will be the direction.
